In The Silkfang Respite, you play as a fledgling mage named Fee who quests across the land catching and taming monsters, as well as solving dungeons, and romancing characters. The game plays like a fusion of 2D Legend of Zelda and Pokémon with 20 different monsters to catch and spank and 5 different dungeons to solve.

This is for anyone new who comes across this game. This game is done and will more than likely not be updated. The game in its self is enjoyable albeit limited. There is a total of 3 repeatable scenes and obviously all the monster scenes as well. As far as the romance is concerned it has only two small romance bits. And in my opinion the "mansion" is the only good one. Still even with the cut content it was very enjoyable so i recommend one or maybe two play throughs

Thoroughly enjoying the game, I love the fact Fee isn't exempted from being spanked herself and that if you need a spanking to your own rump that you can always return to Shelly for more spanks, I can understand why the diaper accessory doesn't change the undergarment for all spank scenes, and the different spanking animations Fee ends up in, you can run either a daycare or a disciplinary building to tame monsters. I only have one gripe with the game, at the manor the game keeps breaking cause Fee doesn't get set into the correct space in the capture room and her walking animation to the corner gets blocked by the map itself.
would rate it a decent 8/10. Just frustrating restarting the whole game when the corner time glitch happens.

Hello, I'd like to note a issues I've found.
Siphra's questline seems to not exist anymore. I just get a "Sorry, this content is not ready for you yet" when talking to her. Even though I remember a year ago playing some of it and even leaving a comment about it when I was stuck. I didn't see any mention of it being removed from the changelog either. Anyone have any ideas?
I wasn't super happy with the structure that Siphra's questline was taking, nor with the art I had originally made for her, so I scrapped the existing questline to make way for a new one that conformed better to the romance quest structure I had been working with on the other characters. It's not in the game yet because this project was really starting to burn me out and I needed to work on something else for a while. One day, I will come back to it and add in the rest of the romance content.

I'm not currently working on it, so I can't give a good estimate at this time. Things are really in flux right now with my personal life, so it may be some time before I can work on it again.

I'd want to pay you fairly for that work though, and my cashflow is just not good enough for that at the moment. If you want to do it, you are free to translate the game for your own enjoyment, but I won't ask anyone to do it for free.

I'm having trouble on the ice floor in the tower past Cloudnest. It looks like the yellow tiles should be blocks that stop us in front of them, but for some reason my character is stopping ~on~ them. So I'm not able to pass that tower.

Ok this is a great game! its got good progression, amazing dungeons, fun animations and way more than 3-5 hours of play time. i hit 27 hours just trying to get to the end. lol
Spoiler past here:
in the two endings i got, it felt sad to see the credits roll and then the game is over. i have dabbled in the world of coding but found it difficult so i understand. but still i would love to see more like returning to the world after either ending with freedom to do everything rather than game over

I sold my enchanted coin early in the game, and haven't been able to find another one to craft the bottomless pen. Is it possible to find/buy another one later in the game?
You can get one by taming a greemle and keeping its mood > 8.

What romance options are there other than the mayor?
Right now, it's just the mayor and a little bit with the thief boss. I am working on another project at the moment, but will return to this one at some point to add the rest of the romances.

One of my levers near the first pool doesn't work.

Relationship stuff is still being worked on, and the claw fragment can be found from the jikat monster who shows up in the hot springs area at night.
Is there a way to get sick when staying at Celines Inn?
When she takes the temperature she says that she wants to make sure the misbehavior isn't because of a sickness.
Yeah, that's her excuse, but there is no way to get sick.

Yea i did but almost immediatly after she said she would help out at the cabin i never saw her character again outside of the cutscenes

I need some help. I wanted to give the lens to the girl in Shol's Crater but shes not in her home, and I can't find her anywhere around town, in or out of buildings, day or night.

Try the town's inn. That quest is getting overhauled right now though, so it's all likely to change eventually.
Aha! She was sitting in the inn but I couldn't see her because her sprite from the back is mostly brown and everything around her including the chair, bar counter, and floor is brown so she blended right in! Looking at it now though I can't believe I didn't notice at all so thanks a bunch for responding.

You need to take it back to the same merchant you got the mask from originally.

I can't figure out how to get past the electric fences? Am I missing something? or is the game not updated that far? Wonderful game by the way! love the art and the puzzles.
If you're talking about the electric fence in the waterfall cave, there's a ledge you can hop down.

I like the style of this game. It feels like I'm on a NES or SNES. I think you should be able to see the enemies HP but everything beyond that is okay.

If you aren't downloading this because this on one of if not the best spanking game in existence, then you should be supporting this dev because the puzzle and map designs surpass the 8bit classics they take inspiration from!
yeah, I'm serious. This horny game about butts = better dungeon design than Legend of Zelda! The Slime Cave alone could teach a class in 2d level design!
I've played waaaay more than the 3-5 hours listed above, but I may have done a little more... erm... grinding than necessary.
Also, dev is a super active developer with actual reliable biweekly updates for patrons and regular free public builds!
